Ho Ho Ho!! Dinner time....
We went to Orchard Road to taste the real Singaporean food, unfortunately, the incredibly huge crowd in Orchard Road forced us to find any available seats and not available food. Finally, after lots of pushing and sweat contact with the crowd, we managed to reserved 2 tables for six persons.

Food Republic was the place we had our dinner... really a huge crowd and a reminder to everyone, please don't go to Orchard Road during Christmas!!

After filling our stomachs with lots of Singaporean food, we went for night walk along the Orchard Road. OMG, the crowd was seriously incredibly huge!!! Anyway, I still love the way smart people in Singapore who knows how to decorate the streets with lots of colorful lights.

Singapore Day 2, 21 December 2007

21 December 2007, it was my bro's birthday and too bad, he's now at US that I'm not able to drop him a Birthday wish.

We had our breakfast at Vivocity, Harbour Front before we left to Sentosa Island.

The Christmas decoration at Vivo..

Justin and me at a boneless christmas tree..

Frosty the snowman.. Julia's favorite song and Justin's favorite Christmas character.. haha (=

I just love this deco at Tangs.. For God did not send his Son to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. John 3:17. Indeed Christmas is all about giving as God gave His only begotten Son, Jesus to earth to save us. God started to give, that's why there's lots of presents during Christmas season.

We took cable car to Sentosa Island and look at Julia.. she was shivering??? Hahahaha... She sat so close to her mom and hold her tightly.. wahahaha.

Linda, Me and Justin...

Singapore city's shot from the above...

The going to build Sentosa Theme Park..in future this place shall be very packed.

The first place that we visited was Underwater World in Sentosa Island.

All of us with the underwater creatures..

Hi all, I'm Coconut Crab. I am the world's largest land arthropod (invertebrate animal with segmented body and jointed legs). I have strong claws which can open coconuts to dig the flesh for consumption. For a larger crab, the claw is strong enough to break a finger. That's great of us, Coconut Crab!!!

Distribution : Islands in Western Pacific and Eastern Indian Oceans
Habitat : Rock crevices and sand burrows
Diet : Coconut, fruits, rotting leaves, dead and injured animals

Hey guys, I am a unique crab with spanner-shaped claws moves forward and backward rather than sideways! Call me Spanner Crab!!

Distribution : South Africa to Japan and Hawaii
Habitat : Sandy floor of intertidal waters
Diet : Small molluscs, crustaceans, worms and fishes

And I am a Japanese Spider Crab, largest living arthropod; fully grown it can reach a leg span of almost 4m (13 feet), a body size of up to 37cm (15 inches) and a weight of up to 20 kg (44pounds). Besides, I also have a life expectancy up to 100 years, that's great of me huh??!!

Distribution : Pacific ocean around Japan
Habitat : live in the seabed at depths of 150–800 m, but are found most prominently in depths of 200–300 m.
Diet : Dead animals, shellfish

The Arrow Crab (Stenorhynchus seticornis) is a saltwater invertebrate that resembles a harvestman (daddy long-legs) that may grow up to a length of about 6 inches (15 cm). The arrow crab is territorial. It is very docile towards divers, but very aggressive with other marine animals, including other individuals of its species.

Distribution : Tropical and subtropica Atlantic coasts of the Americas.
Diet : Fireworms, aquarium pests

If you see a rock moving in one of our exhibits, look closer. It might be a decorator crab that’s camouflaged itself with tiny seaweeds and animals like anemones, sponges and bryozoans. The crab selects pieces of seaweed and small animals from its habitat and fastens them to hooked setae (Velcrolike bristles) on the back of its shell. As long as the crab stays in the neighborhood, it blends in and looks at home. Crabs that have grown large enough to defend themselves don’t decorate their backs; however, plants and animals settle there without help, take hold and grow.
Distribution : Indo-Pacific
Habitat : Waters from 10 to 15m deep
Diet : Algae, sponges and small crustaceans

That was all about crab and now let's go to the fish world!!!

Smiley jig-jag shark..

MUST READ!!!!!!!!! Don't just because a bowl of your sharkfin's soup and you are so heartless to let the shark to die in pain...

This is Gracie the Dugong.

Name : Gracie
Date of Birth : Around March 1998
Sex : Female
Diet : Milk, seagrass
Weight : 160 kg (still growing)
Length : 167 m (still growing)

Life Story : In September 1998, baby Gracie was stranded when her mother died in a fishing trap near Pulau Ubin island of Singapore. Staff of Underwater World Singapore had to rescue her because baby dugongs could not survive on their own without milk and mother's care. We gave her a safe home and became her nanny, her playmate and her friend.

You'll get to observe the highly intelligent Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphins through a series of interactive, feeding and training sessions specially designed to demonstrate their natural ability of tail-walking synchronization.

Hehehehe.. I caught the ah mo kids in action! Look at the little girl that cares so much for his little brother. Not sure what she was doing? Well, she was actually applying Banana Boat's KIDS sunblock to her little bro's face, hands and legs. A loving little girl and don't say I'm kei poh k.. in fact I was just impressed with both of the little kids. Hehehehe...

Ho Ho Ho! Santa Claus is coming to town. This dolphin show was specially made for this wonderful Christmas. He was giving away sweets for kids.. too bad, I'm no longer a kid :(
